Description

  • Design, develop, configure, and support SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) technical solutions.
  • Build custom applications, enhancements, and technical objects using Object-Oriented ABAP, AMDP, CDS Views, and SAP best practices.
  • Configure BRF+ applications, decision tables, validation rules, derivation rules, and business rule services.
  • Design and maintain SAP MDG workflows, including single-step, multi-step, sequential, and parallel approvals.
  • Develop SAP MDG user interfaces using FPM, SAP Fiori, Web Dynpro, OData Services, and related UI technologies.
  • Configure and support DRF and DIF to synchronize master data across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and third-party systems.
  • Develop inbound and outbound interfaces using IDocs, SOA Services, Web Services, APIs, and integration tools.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Write technical specifications, support functional design documentation, and participate in testing and defect resolution.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, support enhancements, and participate in Agile/DevOps activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of SAP development experience with 5–7 years allowed without a bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP MDG technical development.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, BRF+, SAP Fiori, FPM, Web Dynpro, OData Services, CDS Views, and AMDP.
  • Experience configuring SAP MDG workflows, data models, validation rules, derivation rules, and business rule frameworks.
  • Experience with DRF, DIF, IDocs, SOA Services, Web Services, and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of SAP MDG architecture, Central Governance, Mass Processing, and Data Quality Management (DQM).
  • Experience supporting SAP master data domains such as Business Partner, Customer, Supplier, Material Master, or Financial Master Data.
  • Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, or enterprise modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Preferred: active Secret clearance.
  • Preferred: experience with SAP Activate, Agile/Scrum, DevOps, JIRA, ATC checks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: experience integrating SAP MDG with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party applications.
  • Preferred: relevant SAP MDG, SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, or SAP S/4HANA certifications.
