Description

  • Design, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade platform services across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code pipelines using Terraform, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters at an advanced level, including cluster administration, networking, and security.
  • Stand up and operate on-prem big data infrastructure such as Hadoop or EMR-equivalent platforms.
  • Architect and maintain distributed storage systems such as MinIO and other S3-compatible services in production.
  • Build and support distributed caching layers using Redis and Memcached in production environments.
  • Implement and maintain a full observability stack using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Bring cloud-like services and automation patterns into private cloud or bare-metal environments.
  • Support repeatable, auditable, GitOps-based deployment workflows.
  • Ensure production platforms are reliable, scalable, and visible to the teams operating them.

Requirements

  • Proven production experience delivering cloud-like capabilities such as EMR, S3, Lambda, or SQS equivalents on-prem.
  • Hands-on experience setting up big data infrastructure on-prem, such as Hadoop or EMR on bare metal.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Advanced Kubernetes experience, including cluster administration beyond application deployment.
  • Production experience with distributed storage infrastructure such as MinIO or other S3-alike systems.
  • Production experience with distributed cache infrastructure such as Redis or Memcached.
  • Solid observability experience with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Strong GitOps and pipeline automation mindset with repeatable, auditable deployment practices.
  • Preferred experience managing local artifact registries such as Nexus or similar tools.
  • Preferred experience with hypervisor and OS-level troubleshooting, backup and recovery, and capacity/scalability analysis.
