Description

  • Manage Accounts Payable email communications and invoice delivery.
  • Post daily electronic files for AP charges in the accounting system.
  • Prepare check runs and ensure AP charges are correctly coded to approvers and GL accounts.
  • Set up new vendors and maintain vendor master data, including addresses, W-9s, ACH details, and 1099 status.
  • Manage outstanding checks, abandoned-property files, and auditable AP documentation.
  • Prepare month-end and year-end close materials, account reconciliations, and reports for management and audits.
  • Manage company credit card spending, including virtual card issuance, reconciliations, and receipt matching.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly AP metrics and reporting data.
  • Investigate and resolve AP questions from vendors, customers, and internal partners.
  • Support accounting projects, system implementations, and operational improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience for a medium or large business.
  • Experience with an ERP system; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and high transaction volumes with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments and stakeholders.
  • Curious, empathetic, solutions-oriented approach to evaluating problems.
