Description

  • Serve as the liaison between the accounting team and clients to ensure clear, timely communication.
  • Communicate financial information, invoices, and billing details to clients in English and Spanish as needed.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including payment follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with legal and operations teams to ensure accurate case-related billing.
  • Review settlement agreements and ensure financial terms are accurately reflected and processed.
  • Maintain and update financial records in accounting systems.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding billing, payments, and account status.
  • Support account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal financial procedures.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, billing, or financial coordination.
  • Experience with the settlement process and reviewing agreements is required.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Personal injury experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal billing and case management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
