Description

  • Design, test, and build new backend solutions for Bridgit's platform.
  • Maintain and evolve existing backend systems to support product growth and reliability.
  • Build scalable, reliable services that support construction teams and workforce planning workflows.
  • Contribute to backend systems that incorporate LLM-powered capabilities.
  • Work across the product lifecycle in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Apply sound system design decisions for distributed services and production deployments.
  • Support and improve developer experience through practical use of AI-enabled tools and workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building high-quality software.
  • Strong command of C#, Go, or another modern backend language.
  • Experience architecting and building scalable, distributed systems.
  • Extensive experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of performance and reliability considerations in backend/data design.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining services in production.
  • Regular use of AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with applied AI and LLMs, such as building real products with Claude, OpenAI, or other major LLMs (nice to have).
  • Experience designing backend systems that integrate LLM capabilities into production workflows (nice to have).
  • Exposure to PostgreSQL or Redis is a plus.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $120,000–$170,000 CAD annually.
  • Total compensation includes base salary, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits.
