Description

  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, clinical care sites, and key stakeholders within the assigned territory.
  • Become a therapeutic area expert by reviewing literature, attending medical congresses, and identifying educational gaps in the community.
  • Serve as the primary source of balanced medical and scientific information for healthcare providers in the geography.
  • Conduct compliant scientific exchange, deliver medical presentations, gather insights, and respond to healthcare provider information requests.
  • Develop and implement a territory-specific medical plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy and evidence generation needs.
  • Assist in identifying potential investigators and support participation in clinical research projects.
  • Represent BridgeBio at major scientific conferences and external forums.
  • For Senior MSL roles, lead cross-functional collaboration and contribute to strategic territory planning.
  • For Senior MSL roles, mentor peer MSLs and support knowledge transfer and professional development.
  • For Senior MSL roles, lead congress planning, execution, and post-congress analysis to translate findings into actionable insights.
  • For Senior MSL roles, contribute to medical affairs collateral, scientific content, and cross-functional project workstreams.

Requirements

  • PharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced healthcare degree with relevant experience considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical patient care, medical affairs, or field medical role with a verifiable record of high performance.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to engage in scientific dialogue and explain complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Prior experience in rare diseases, cardiology, or neurology preferred.
  • For Senior MSL roles, 3+ years of medical affairs or field medical experience is preferred, or at least 2 years of other relevant clinical or healthcare experience will be considered.
  • For Senior MSL roles, understanding of clinical research and pharmaceutical product development processes.
  • For Senior MSL roles, strong organizational skills, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
  • For Senior MSL roles, demonstrated leadership in project teams and strong relationship-building with industry and academic thought leaders.
