Description

  • Work with engineers across the company to build new features and products end-to-end.
  • Own problems end-to-end, including user experience, data models, scalability, operability, and ongoing metrics.
  • Provide technical leadership by driving roadmap direction, architectural design, and mentorship.
  • Partner with user-facing teams such as Sales and Support to better understand customer needs.
  • Refine and polish features to a high standard of quality.
  • Identify and implement reliability and performance improvements.
  • Maintain consistency across codebases, infrastructure, and engineering processes.
  • Build scalable backend APIs, rule-evaluation engines, and frontend workflow interfaces for custom automations and task builders.
  • Help shape broader product experiences, including AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and deploying full-stack products.
  • Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python.
  • Experience architecting, building, and maintaining scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
  • Experience designing and optimizing SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, query performance tuning, and schema design.
  • Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
  • Experience with modern frontend technologies and tools such as ES6+, React, TypeScript, and Webpack.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in product, design, and operations is preferred.
  • Experience driving initiatives at a broader level across an organization or company is preferred.
  • Experience running in-product experiments and A/B testing is preferred.
  • Experience and interest in leveraging AI developer tools is preferred.

Benefits

  • Hybrid work environment based in the New York office.
  • Minimum of three coordinated in-office days per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • Up to four weeks per year of fully remote work.
  • Expected salary range of $192,000 - $240,000.
  • Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the total compensation package.
