Description

  • Work with business units to translate requirements into technical designs and Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales, Operations, Support, and other departments.
  • Evaluate the scope and completion of new Salesforce development requests.
  • Own Salesforce solutions end-to-end, including design, build, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Develop solutions using declarative and programmatic Salesforce tools.
  • Manage the change management and deployment process for the Salesforce codebase.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to design patterns and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive Salesforce development experience in a complex B2B environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce implementations across related systems, applications, and processes.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and upstream/downstream systems.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including custom apps, objects, formula fields, workflows, and custom views.
  • Experience with advanced Apex programming concepts, including design patterns, bulk patterns, trigger handling, asynchronous operations, and unit testing.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications using Salesforce APIs.
  • Expertise with Salesforce core technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Salesforce deployment techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Architect are preferred.
  • Experience working in Scrum or Agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Previous non-Salesforce software engineering experience is preferred.
  • A university or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related experience is preferred.
  • Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, and the Lightning Design System is preferred.
  • Experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst is preferred.
