Description

  • Support accounting and finance activities for the Mexico and Colombia operations.
  • Perform general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end close, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Coordinate with finance, payroll, tax, and other stakeholders across multiple countries.
  • Support payroll, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and employee benefit obligations.
  • Collaborate with Mexican finance, payroll, and tax teams.
  • Work with external auditors and tax advisors when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting.
  • Experience in multinational or shared-service environments.
  • Practical knowledge of Colombian and Mexican accounting, tax, payroll, labor, and statutory requirements.
  • Knowledge of VAT (IVA), withholding taxes, and electronic invoicing (CFDI).
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, plus advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent Spanish and business-level English are mandatory.
  • Professional accounting certification is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and experience supporting multiple Latin American countries are preferred.
  • Experience with Shared Service Centers or regional finance support is preferred.
