Description

  • Manage a portfolio of 20-25 mid- to large-sized client accounts across a wide range of industries.
  • Consult with clients to develop and maintain custom, multi-faceted content marketing strategies.
  • Lead account management activities and build strong client relationships based on rapport and trust.
  • Create, present, and interpret statistical and ROI reporting to demonstrate strategy performance against client objectives.
  • Drive client retention and account growth by selling follow-on strategies and creating statements of work.
  • Coordinate the execution of content strategies with editorial, graphics, video, social media, and web integration teams.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to bring content ideas and campaigns to life.
  • Apply project management discipline to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support content strategy decisions using research, SEO trends, and digital marketing insights.
  • Travel to visit clients in person when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in account management and/or content marketing/SEO strategy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current content marketing and SEO strategy trends.
  • Experience with content strategy presentation, statistical reporting, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong understanding of UX best practices and how to optimize content display.
  • Phenomenal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of how businesses make decisions and generate revenue.
  • Experience with tools and platforms including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, web analytics, and social media strategy tools.
