Description

  • Report on startups, fintech and crypto.
  • Produce or refurbish at least two news or feature pieces daily.
  • Write and publish two newsletters per month with original framing and analysis.
  • Manage media partner deliverables end to end, including thought-leadership opportunities.
  • Support Tech Revolt events across planning, editorial development and execution.
  • Support regional and international media events on the ground when required.
  • Coordinate interviews, video partnerships and speaker opportunities.
  • Support the Managing Director with partnership growth and editorial positioning.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in tech journalism, business media, editorial or communications.
  • Strong writing voice, clean copy and the ability to file daily under deadline.
  • Working knowledge of the regional and global startups, fintech and crypto landscape.
  • Experience contributing to or managing a newsletter, or the ability to own one end to end.
  • Experience managing partner relationships and delivering commitments on time.
  • Highly organised and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Existing source network across GCC technology, fintech or startups (preferred).
  • Experience covering or working alongside industry events (preferred).
  • Video, audio or on-camera experience (preferred).
  • Arabic proficiency (preferred).
