Description

  • Execute business development strategies and marketing plans to meet or exceed business objectives.
  • Manage key accounts through strategic planning, analysis, and account management.
  • Review and interpret market reports to support quarterly and annual goals.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, decision makers, and account influencers.
  • Own access, contractual, and outcome goals in account business plans.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the assigned geography, care delivery landscape, payers, and public policy and funding initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities and barriers within emerging customer segments.
  • Provide information and education to medical, correctional, behavioral health, and administrative stakeholders.
  • Develop systems of care and support criminal justice initiatives using injectable medication for opioid use disorder.
  • Deliver fair, balanced, and compliant clinical presentations.
  • Assist with field training development and delivery in support of the business development plan.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to execute customer business plans and support continuity of care and pull-through.
  • Represent Braeburn at local and select national conferences.
  • Manage business development expenses and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience, including 5+ years in sales, sales leadership, and/or field market access/reimbursement in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • 2+ years of experience in corrections/criminal justice systems, integrated health systems, and hospitals required.
  • Proven sales or field market access performance, supported by market performance reports and recognition awards.
  • Experience navigating complex customer protocols and contracting for integrated health systems, corrections, and large accounts.
  • Experience in a complex distribution model, including Specialty Pharmacy Network Management and Buy & Bill acquisition, required.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience leading others in a highly complex and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered implantable or injectable medication technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and identify new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally up to 70-80%.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
