Description

  • Achieve planned sales, patient access, and performance objectives for the assigned geography.
  • Educate healthcare professionals and office personnel on Braeburn’s products, clinical information, and access resources.
  • Use approved materials to explain product acquisition, payer policy, reimbursement, and related access processes.
  • Manage accounts to support product access and triage or resolve reimbursement issues in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Review and interpret territory data, payer trends, delivery of care, and the regulatory environment to plan and execute territory activities.
  • Engage with account personnel to prepare for sales calls, uncover needs, communicate approved solutions, and define next steps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Braeburn partners to support customer and patient experience.
  • Maintain compliant, scientifically accurate communication consistent with FDA-approved labeling and the REMS program.
  • Develop ongoing customer dialogue to anticipate changing needs, market challenges, and opportunities.
  • Control operational expenses within the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience, including at least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • Experience working in a complex distribution model, including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven sales or field market access performance, supported by market performance reports or recognition awards in Specialty Pharmacy markets.
  • Experience launching products in a highly complex and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered products such as implantable or injectable medication technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and identify new business opportunities.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, including overnight travel up to 50–70% in some territories.
