Description

  • Achieve Braeburn goals, patient access objectives, and other performance measures for the assigned geography.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret reports, facts, and data to plan and execute territory activities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned territory, including care delivery, major payers, regulatory environment, industry trends, and reimbursement patterns.
  • Communicate disease-state and product information in a compliant manner aligned with FDA-approved labeling and the REMS program.
  • Provide physicians and office personnel with approved access-related information for Braeburn products.
  • Manage and support accounts by ensuring product access and resolving or triaging reimbursement issues.
  • Collaborate with Braeburn cross-functional partners to support customer and patient needs.
  • Develop ongoing customer dialogue to anticipate needs and respond to evolving market challenges and opportunities.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain compliance with Braeburn policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Control operational expenses within the territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; an advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • At least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • Experience working within a complex distribution model, including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven sales or field market access performance in Specialty Pharmacy markets.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complicated and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty physician-administered products such as implantable or injectable medication technologies in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work autonomously and identify new business opportunities.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, with some overnight travel up to 50-70%.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
