Description

  • Achieve Braeburn goals, patient access objectives, and other performance measures for the assigned geography.
  • Deliver compliant clinical and product information to healthcare professionals and office personnel using approved materials.
  • Educate customers on product acquisition, payer policy, reimbursement, coding, billing, and related access resources.
  • Manage and support accounts by ensuring product access and triaging reimbursement issues in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Review reports, data, and market information to plan territory activities and meet quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the territory, including care delivery, major payers, regulatory conditions, industry trends, and competition.
  • Engage with account personnel to prepare for sales calls, uncover needs, address concerns, gain commitments, and complete post-call follow-up.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional internal partners.
  • Maintain ongoing customer dialogue to anticipate needs and adapt to market changes and opportunities.
  • Exercise fiscal control over operational expenses while maintaining integrity and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; an advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience, including at least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • Proven sales or field market access performance in specialty pharmacy markets, supported by market performance reports and recognition awards.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complicated and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty physician-administered products such as implantable or injectable medication technologies in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with a complex distribution model, including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
  • Ability to work autonomously and identify new business opportunities.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, including overnight travel up to 50-70% in some territories.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
