Description

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Assurance department and the Learning, Development, and Engagement team.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and recommend forward-looking learning strategies.
  • Monitor trends in the accounting profession, Assurance standards, and the regulatory environment and translate them into learning priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align learning strategies with short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Provide strategic oversight of learning solutions, delegating development and delivery as appropriate.
  • Guide onboarding and core curriculum programs and ensure they meet departmental needs.
  • Collaborate with the Learning Content Strategist and L&D team to create learning materials such as presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and exercises.
  • Facilitate experienced hire onboarding, including technical and software training.
  • Facilitate technical training sessions for learners at different experience levels, from A1s through Partners.
  • Coordinate CPE activities and support compliance with professional development requirements.
  • Design, develop, deliver, and support comprehensive new hire onboarding programs.
  • Assess learning program effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
  • Coordinate with global offices to deliver comparable live training experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Assurance.
  • At least 2 years in a Manager-level role.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • Experience in learning strategy, talent development, or L&D partnership roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with CPE requirements and coordination is a plus.
  • Experience facilitating learning experiences and applying adult learning principles.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to interpret industry, regulatory, and business trends and translate them into learning strategies.
  • Professionalism, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
