Description

  • Maintain and support Linux-based servers and AWS infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Monitor systems, respond to alerts and incidents, and participate in a 24×7 on-call rotation.
  • Perform patching, upgrades, hardening, and other security and maintenance activities.
  • Develop and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and operational tasks.
  • Work closely with developers and client teams to troubleshoot issues and support releases.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote and enforce information security practices, including acceptable use, malware protection, and password security.
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
  • Ensure data is handled in compliance with privacy and protection standards such as GDPR and CCPA.

Requirements

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional is mandatory.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux production environments.
  • Strong experience designing, operating, and supporting AWS infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting and investigation skills, including root-cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting Magento platforms running on Apache and PHP.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working with GitHub.
  • Experience with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk.
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools such as ServiceNow for incident, change, and request management.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle production issues under pressure.
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support other team members.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and late-night deployments.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
