Description

  • Execute comprehensive test cases to validate reporting accuracy and data integrity.
  • Identify, document, and track defects and data discrepancies.
  • Query and analyze complex data sets to verify system outputs against business logic and specifications.
  • Help maintain and improve QA documentation, standard operating procedures, and testing frameworks.
  • Support quality assurance efforts focused on data pipelines and reporting structures.
  • Promote and enforce information security awareness and practices.
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks affecting information assets.
  • Evaluate how data is stored, processed, and transmitted to support compliance with privacy and protection standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a dedicated software or data quality assurance environment.
  • Proven track record of accurate defect tracking and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with data structures.
  • Foundational understanding of relational databases and data manipulation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to conduct root-cause analysis on data anomalies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical issues and defects clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL or exposure to cloud-based data warehouses such as Google BigQuery is preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data visualization and BI tools such as Looker or Tableau is preferred.
  • Basic exposure to Python scripting or the ability to read and interpret code is preferred.
