Description

  • Identify and solve core business issues that are blocking growth.
  • Review and improve cross-functional processes across sales, customer success, and other business teams.
  • Translate strategy into execution plans and lead multi-team projects to completion.
  • Develop and validate growth strategies for the Japan business and new initiatives.
  • Use data analysis to identify and test the most effective actions for revenue expansion.
  • Evaluate business models for new products and services through market research and customer interviews.
  • Coordinate with overseas teams in Korea and North America and support global expansion efforts.
  • Support and mentor BizOps members in overseas locations.
  • Build relationships and conduct strategic negotiations with key enterprise customers and partners.
  • Create a data foundation for management decisions by consolidating business data, visualizing KPIs, and operating monitoring systems.

Requirements

  • Business-level English and native-level Japanese proficiency.
  • Experience in one of the following: strategic consulting or general consulting with project leadership experience, business development, corporate planning, or BizOps at a startup of roughly 10s to 100s of employees.
  • Experience in a managerial or project lead role is expected for consulting backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of business growth in the B2B software domain is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with or managing global, multinational teams is preferred.
  • Hands-on attitude and willingness to work directly in ambiguous, chaotic environments.
  • Strong ownership and comfort with the speed and change of a 'second founding' stage startup.
  • High commitment to executing strategies persistently across departments and delivering results.
  • Ability to perform independently while contributing to a global team.
