Description

  • Own the technical solution, architecture, and ongoing production support for client data-platform engagements.
  • Lead client discovery, gather requirements, present technical solutions and trade-offs, and estimate project-level work.
  • Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data models, warehouses, and ELT/ETL pipelines optimized for performance, scalability, and cost.
  • Develop and tune complex SQL, stored procedures, and transformations across Snowflake and relational databases.
  • Implement Snowflake capabilities such as Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, dynamic tables, and external integrations for near-real-time data flows.
  • Own Snowflake performance, governance, security, role-based access control, and cost management.
  • Build and maintain Python and C#/.NET backend APIs, services, and reliable integrations with marketing, CRM, and analytics platforms.
  • Own CI/CD and deployment processes across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Set engineering direction and practices through architecture decisions, code and design reviews, mentoring, and technical training.
  • Serve as the technical escalation point for production issues and communicate project-level technical status with clients and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in data engineering.
  • Deep hands-on Snowflake experience designing production data models and warehouses, building ELT/ETL pipelines, and writing performant SQL.
  • Experience owning a data platform or data-model design from requirements through production.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership for an account, engagement, or team.
  • Experience leading discovery and shaping solutions directly with clients or business stakeholders.
  • Experience estimating and planning work at system and project levels.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake performance tuning, cost optimization, security, governance, warehouse sizing, clustering, and RBAC.
  • Strong recent hands-on proficiency in Python and C# for backend development.
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL and designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.
  • DevOps experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, server configuration, and Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent client projects and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Agency, consultancy, or client-services experience; SnowPro certification; Redshift, Databricks, Azure, HubSpot, IIS, or AI-assisted development-tool experience (preferred).
