Description

  • Analyze customer problems and turn ambiguous requirements into practical designs and backend solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems and well-tested product features.
  • Build and implement reliable, high-quality, performant, and sustainable services.
  • Work across UX, APIs, and infrastructure to support product growth and scalability.
  • Collaborate with the business team to create user stories and designs from unclear problem statements.
  • Contribute to deployments, integrations, and other cross-functional tasks as needed in a small team.
  • Meet with customers when needed to build or support integrations.
  • Help shape product direction and bring ideas into production regularly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience building backend services with C#/.NET.
  • 5+ years of work experience building and using SQL databases, including SQL Server.
  • 5+ years of work experience building single-page app frontends in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • 3+ years of work experience building and consuming REST APIs.
  • 3+ years of work experience working with Azure or AWS cloud projects.
  • 3+ years of work experience building technical designs for other engineers.
  • Significant experience with frontend development, including AngularJS (1.x) or similar frameworks.
  • Experience working with build pipelines such as Webpack.
  • Experience with WebGL and/or Canvas.
  • Experience building B2B cloud solutions on Azure or AWS.
  • A positive communication style and strong written communication skills for a remote team.
  • Preferred: aerospace maintenance experience or interest in the aerospace industry.
  • Preferred: experience building B2B SaaS applications.
