Description

  • Serve as an Account Manager and/or Practice Lead with strategic direction, quality oversight, and relationship stewardship.
  • Supervise and mentor Associates, Senior Associates, Consultants, and Senior Consultants.
  • Manage client engagements to exemplary client satisfaction across accounts and practice/service areas.
  • Identify business opportunities with existing clients and pursue growth opportunities with leadership.
  • Source relevant RFPs and lead proposal development, pitching, and new business pursuits.
  • Co-develop and co-execute end-to-end public health communications campaigns and planning.
  • Co-lead brand and identity audits, messaging development, digital media planning, and media outreach support.
  • Oversee branding, visual identity, content creation, and template development for programs and campaigns.
  • Provide advocacy and policy technical assistance, including policy translation, brief and white paper development, and legislative tracking.
  • Lead strategic visioning, resource planning, and practice-area growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a consulting firm environment.
  • 6-12 years of progressive professional experience in public programming, advocacy, and/or strategic communications.
  • MPH, MPA, or a similar relevant graduate degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of people management experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of project management or project leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of client-facing experience, including 2 or more years in project leadership roles.
  • Experience and confidence with business development, including sourcing, proposal development, and contracting.
  • Superior presentation skills and comfort presenting to leadership, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, consulting environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, complex content, detailed deliverables, and occasional travel to client sites and conferences.
  • Alignment with BME Strategies’ shared values.
  • Experience in association, trade organization, or public health agency settings is preferred.
  • Experience integrating policy strategy into strategic communications is preferred.

  • Salary range of $99,840 to $162,240 annually.
