Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for roughly 6–8 e-commerce clients and own each relationship end to end.
  • Proactively communicate ideas, recommendations, performance updates, and risks to clients.
  • Monitor account health and client sentiment, escalate issues early, and help reduce churn.
  • Translate updates from performance and project management teams into clear client communication.
  • Oversee, coach, and mentor a team of Account Strategists, including an Account Admin reporting through the team.
  • Balance workload and client assignments across the accounts team.
  • Support Strategists through escalations and difficult client conversations.
  • Partner with performance, project management, and leadership teams to align strategy, execution, and department goals.
  • Improve account management processes, templates, standards, playbooks, and onboarding materials.
  • Track client-facing KPIs and report progress against department goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of agency experience, including direct client management.
  • Experience managing client relationships with proactive communication and escalation handling.
  • Experience overseeing or mentoring other Account Managers or Account Strategists.
  • Familiarity with paid media, organic media, or creative concepts enough to translate specialist work into client-friendly language.
  • Comfort managing multiple clients simultaneously.
  • E-commerce or D2C client experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including delivering both positive and difficult news.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with performance media, project management, or creative teams (preferred).
  • Track record of building or improving account management processes, templates, or playbooks (preferred).
  • Experience conducting in-person client visits or QBRs (preferred).
  • Experience setting or reporting on department-level KPIs to leadership (preferred).

Benefits

  • Base salary of $90,000.
  • On-target earnings of $100,000–$105,000, including commission.
  • Additional performance-based bonuses may be available at the company's discretion.
