Description

  • Consult with customers on extracting, transforming, and loading data into the Bluesight platform.
  • Configure and execute infrastructure for customer data integrations.
  • Validate, reconcile, and analyze data from disparate systems using command-line tools and scripts.
  • Communicate data findings and troubleshoot technical issues with customer contacts.
  • Write or update SQL, Python, and other scripts as needed.
  • Document processes, edge cases, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with implementation, product, and engineering teams to improve processes and data pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year of experience in data analysis; healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Experience with AWS services such as Glue, Step Functions, and Lambda.
  • Experience querying relational databases such as MySQL, MS-SQL, or Oracle, or non-relational databases such as MongoDB.
  • Ability to understand and debug existing codebases across languages or frameworks including Python, PySpark, Scala, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, and data validation.
  • Proficiency with command-line environments such as Bash, Zsh, or PowerShell.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience on an operations or implementation-focused team is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SaaS implementation, hospital EHR or ADC systems, Python or Ruby scripting, PHI, and HIPAA is preferred.
