Description

  • Build and configure CRM campaign components in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Data Cloud.
  • Own key workstreams such as content builds, journey updates, automations, data extensions and queries, and QA tasks.
  • Implement and maintain personalization and segmentation using AMPscript, dynamic content, and SQL.
  • Perform rigorous QA and validation, including data checks, link and image validation, rendering tests, and proofing across locales and brands.
  • Monitor journeys and automations for volume, failures, and anomalies, and investigate issues across data, automation, and content layers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues with comms owners, localization teams, data stakeholders, and platform teams, and document findings and fixes.
  • Keep build specs, QA results, and root cause analyses current in Confluence, Jira, and SFMC.
  • Participate in peer reviews of code, queries, and QA work, giving and receiving feedback.
  • Contribute to process and tooling improvements by identifying recurring issues and helping pilot better QA or automation patterns.
  • Work in an agile delivery model, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, estimation, and early risk escalation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development or a similar enterprise CRM/ESP.
  • Practical experience with Journey Builder and Automation Studio, including configuring activities, entry sources, and schedules.
  • Working knowledge of AMPscript and familiarity with SSJS is a plus.
  • Solid SQL skills for segmentation, validation queries, and troubleshooting data issues.
  • Understanding of the SFMC data model, including Data Extensions, Send Logs, Data Views, and Contact Builder relationships.
  • Experience executing in a production environment with high-volume campaigns and strict QA expectations.
  • Strong focus on accuracy, QA, and error prevention, with experience following structured QA/UAT processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across data, automations, journeys, and content and escalate appropriately when needed.
  • Clear communication skills for translating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, agile teams using Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint/OneDrive.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications such as Email Specialist or Developer are preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud/CDP or other customer data platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with QA and rendering tools such as Litmus or internal automated QA dashboards is preferred.
  • Experience supporting localization and multi-locale CRM campaigns is preferred.
  • Exposure to API-triggered sends and integrations with upstream data or orchestration systems is preferred.
