Description

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
  • Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn product requirements into scalable services.
  • Own features from conception through launch, including technical specifications, implementation, and release.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality, robustness, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and help maintain a high-quality engineering culture.
  • Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs to improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Stay current with trends, best practices, and new technologies in the Elixir ecosystem.
  • Contribute to challenging client projects with direct business impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a focus on backend development.
  • Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
  • Experience with OTP, concurrent and distributed systems, and functional programming principles.
  • Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Ecto.
  • Strong product sense and a passion for building reliable, scalable systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile team environment.
  • Experience in a fast-paced consultancy or client-services environment is preferred.
