Description

  • Lead stakeholder interviews and discovery workshops to understand goals, workflows, and pain points.
  • Document current- and future-state processes, business rules, data definitions, and edge cases.
  • Break project scope into estimable epics and user stories for planning and proposals.
  • Identify and resolve assumptions, risks, dependencies, open questions, and scope changes.
  • Write Jira user stories with clear, testable acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with Product Management to prioritize and groom the backlog for two-week sprints.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers in Figma to align flows and screens with requirements.
  • Support engineers during development by answering questions and maintaining current requirements.
  • Work with QA to translate acceptance criteria into test coverage and coordinate client user acceptance testing.
  • Capture compliance, security, audit, and SOC 2 requirements while maintaining organized documentation in Google Drive.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role on software projects.
  • Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery sessions and turn ambiguous input into structured requirements.
  • Experience with process mapping and business-level data modeling.
  • Hands-on Jira experience; familiarity with Figma and collaborative documentation tools.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with confidence leading meetings with U.S. stakeholders.
  • Technical literacy involving APIs, integrations, databases, and system constraints.
  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or software services environment (preferred).
  • Exposure to regulated or compliance-heavy industries and third-party integrations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Laravel, React, AWS, and project estimation or proposal work (preferred).
