Description

  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage formal risk registers, change-control processes, and project issue resolution.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Lead Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare client-facing status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders and executives.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies while maintaining accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience delivering projects against fixed, immovable deadlines such as product launches or trade shows.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Ability to overlap with US business hours.
  • Extreme ownership, attention to detail, client focus, and commitment to best practices.
  • PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects preferred.
  • Experience with nearshore US-LATAM delivery teams preferred.
