Description

  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies across concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage formal risk registers, change-control processes, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Provide client-facing project status reporting and translate technical concepts for clients and executives.
  • Coordinate large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Resolve project conflicts and maintain accountability for deliverables and team commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience managing scope, budget, resourcing, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience delivering against fixed, immovable deadlines such as product launches or trade shows.
  • Experience with client dependency registers, formal risk registers, and change-control processes.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to overlap with US business hours.
  • Experience with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Extreme ownership, accountability, client focus, and adherence to best practices.
  • PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects and nearshore US-LATAM teams preferred.
