Description

  • Maintain and support the current Magento 2 instance and related digital ecosystem.
  • Manage WordPress integrations, including custom themes and plugin-related functionality.
  • Take ownership of inherited codebases by auditing, documenting, and optimizing legacy systems.
  • Execute seamless deployments and support staging-to-production release workflows.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain database performance, caching, and site stability.
  • Integrate Magento and WordPress with external ERPs, CRMs, and marketing tools through APIs.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-impact technical solutions.
  • Manage Linux-based server environments and support web server operations.
  • Apply security best practices, including Magento patching, WordPress hardening, and PCI-related considerations.

Requirements

  • Deep hands-on experience with Magento 2.x, including architecture, EAV models, and UI components.
  • Strong experience with WordPress, including custom themes, hooks, and plugin development.
  • Proficiency with PHP 8.x and object-oriented programming.
  • Solid understanding of Composer and PSR standards.
  • Experience optimizing MySQL queries and working with Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS with SASS/LESS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Magento frontend technologies such as Knockout.js and RequireJS is a plus.
  • Experience working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Git, staging-to-production workflows, and Linux server environments such as Nginx or Apache.
  • Knowledge of PCI compliance, Magento security patching, and WordPress hardening.
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Magento) or a similar certification is preferred.
