Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define new product features and improvements.
  • Work with a high degree of independence while coordinating with senior technology leaders.
  • Take projects from initial concept through development, debugging, release, and ongoing iteration.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with a focus on scalability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to high-quality applications that support client business needs.
  • Work collaboratively in an open and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in the design and development of full-stack software using modern web technologies.
  • Support continuous improvement of existing code through refactoring and iterative development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python.
  • Experience with Django, Flask, SQLAlchemy, React, and/or Knockout.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, ORMs, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Comfort with full-stack development, including back-end service design, data storage and access models, and modern web frameworks.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Experience in a SaaS-based product and comfort working in a corporate environment is desired.
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience is a plus.
