Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define and improve product features.
  • Work independently while coordinating with senior technology leaders as needed.
  • Take projects from initial concept through development, debugging, release, and iteration.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with attention to scalability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Develop high-quality applications and contribute to challenging client projects.
  • Work collaboratively with peers in an open and supportive environment.
  • Participate in ongoing improvement of products and code through refactoring and Agile practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python, especially Django, Flask, or SQLAlchemy.
  • Comfort with full-stack development, including back-end service design, data storage and access models, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Experience with SaaS products and working effectively in a corporate setting is desired.
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience is a plus.
  • Experience with databases and tooling such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, and Jenkins.
