Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define new product features and improvements.
  • Work independently on projects with support from senior technology leaders.
  • Take projects from initial concept through development, debugging, release, and subsequent iteration.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with scalability, supportability, and maintainability in mind.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive engineering environment.
  • Develop high-quality applications that meet client and business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a similar role using open source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and Django.
  • Comfort with full-stack development, including backend development, service design, data storage and access models, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Experience with SaaS-based products and working effectively in a corporate setting is desired.
  • Experience with B2B financial services or alternative asset management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, React, Knockout, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, and Jenkins is relevant to the role.
