Description

  • Design and develop backend services and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Build low-latency API services and integrations with external SDKs on AWS.
  • Develop secure, multi-tenant environments using PostgreSQL or AuroraDB.
  • Write raw SQL and manage database schema migrations.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD applications and workflows.
  • Implement strong testing practices, including integration, failure-mode, and fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver high-quality solutions and meet commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with AWS, scalable RESTful APIs, and low-latency services.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security.
  • Experience building secure multi-tenant systems and managing schema migrations with tools such as node-postgres or node-pg-migrate.
  • Professional experience with React and full-stack development.
  • Experience with large, complex systems and strong software testing practices.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development.
  • Ability to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and overlap US business hours.
  • Bachelor’s degree, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership, accountability, and client-focused teamwork.
  • Preferred: experience with event-sourced or bitemporal data models, Fastify, Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains.
