Description

  • Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Operate production Aurora/PostgreSQL databases, including failover, read replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and tested rollback procedures.
  • Manage containerized services using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, load testing, latency SLOs, and error budgets.
  • Apply security, vulnerability management, secrets management, compliance, and infrastructure-hardening practices.
  • Support SOC 2 evidence collection and client security reviews.
  • Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and rollback drills.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver reliable solutions across complex projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience with ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Docker, ECS/Fargate, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch and load testing tools such as k6.
  • Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and tested rollback paths.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audits and client security reviews.
  • Substantial experience working with large, complex systems and security-sensitive environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; ability to overlap US business hours required.
  • Strong problem-solving, ownership, accountability, attention to detail, client focus, and adherence to best practices.
  • Preferred: experience with S3 Object Lock, long-term archival, secure multi-tenant PostgreSQL, database migrations, and expand/contract schema changes.
  • Preferred: experience in compliance-sensitive domains such as fintech or telecom.
