Description

  • Implement scalable Infrastructure-as-Code patterns with Terraform.
  • Own and evolve the Kubernetes platform, including EKS or self-managed environments.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment frequency, lead time, and release confidence.
  • Design and enforce secure networking, IAM, and secrets-management strategies.
  • Improve observability through metrics, logging, and tracing with tools such as DataDog.
  • Optimize cloud costs through rightsizing, autoscaling, and architectural improvements.
  • Develop disaster recovery, backup, and multi-region resilience strategies.
  • Automate and modernize manually managed or brittle infrastructure.
  • Introduce infrastructure tooling and drive adoption through documentation, workshops, and support.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams on deployments, cloud environments, reliability, and technical trade-offs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
  • Production experience designing and operating Kubernetes environments at scale.
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and cloud networking.
  • Strong experience building and maintaining Terraform modules across large cloud environments.
  • Ownership of CI/CD systems with measurable improvements to DORA metrics.
  • Experience leading incident response and driving postmortem improvements.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures such as Kafka, and PostgreSQL performance.
  • Proven ability to modernize legacy infrastructure and eliminate operational toil.
  • Ability to take ambiguous infrastructure projects from inception through production independently.
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, DataDog, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Bash, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with high-throughput Kafka, database tuning, autoscaling, service meshes, internal developer platforms, zero-trust security, multi-region systems, or reliability frameworks preferred.
  • Remote employees must travel to Orlando, Florida, at least twice annually and attend orientation in Orlando.
