Description

  • Design and implement automated and manual test strategies for the GIS migration solution.
  • Develop test cases, scripts, environments, and related testing documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate software deployments across test and production environments.
  • Establish stable, reproducible deployment processes using CI/CD tools and methodologies.
  • Plan and execute system, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, investigate root causes, and support troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with external development teams, developers, data experts, and business stakeholders.
  • Document testing and deployment processes and prepare reports, technical documentation, and guidelines.
  • Perform individual test cases and take ownership of testing and deployment activities.

Requirements

  • Strong practical knowledge of test architecture, test automation, and test management.
  • Experience with deployment processes, CI/CD, and version control systems.
  • Experience with Xray, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Python/ArcPy, SQL, Terraform, or similar automation technologies.
  • Experience setting up and managing test environments.
  • Experience with system, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including root-cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned activities.
  • Experience documenting technical processes and preparing test reports and guidelines.
  • Experience with GIS systems and data migration is preferred.
