Description

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using services such as ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Operate production Aurora/PostgreSQL databases, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Build and manage Docker- and ECS/Fargate-based containerized environments.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and tested rollback procedures.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, observability, load testing, latency SLOs, and error-budget practices.
  • Apply security, vulnerability management, secrets management, compliance, and infrastructure-hardening practices.
  • Support SOC 2 or similar audit evidence requests and client security reviews.
  • Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with clients and delivery teams to uphold commitments and operational best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience, including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Production experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Docker, ECS/Fargate, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
  • Experience with k6 or similar load-testing tools and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance, and security hardening.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audits, client security reviews, incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree, substantial experience with large complex systems, ability to overlap US business hours, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accountability, and a client-focused mindset.
  • Experience with S3 Object Lock, long-term archival, secure multi-tenant environments, PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, database migration tooling, expand/contract schema changes, or compliance-sensitive domains is preferred.
