Description

  • Own and improve company forecasting models, including sensitivity analyses and assumption-setting aligned to business goals.
  • Report monthly financial results and forecasts, including variance analyses, key trends, and actionable leadership insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards that track financial and operating KPIs and communicate key takeaways to cross-functional partners.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations that inform executive decision-making and business performance.
  • Partner with senior leaders across sales channels and functions to provide financial guidance and ad hoc analyses.
  • Support annual budgeting and periodic reforecast processes by gathering inputs and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Build business cases and financial analyses for product launches, customer investments, marketing initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Evaluate the financial impact and ROI of strategic initiatives to help leadership prioritize investments.
  • Identify risks and opportunities proactively and recommend actions to support timely decisions.
  • Improve financial planning processes, reporting automation, and decision-support capabilities to scale the Finance organization.

Requirements

  • 6–9 years of experience in Strategic Finance and/or FP&A, with experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate FP&A, or strategic finance.
  • Experience supporting a high-growth consumer products company is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Looker, or similar ERP and BI tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI and automation tools to improve financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ownership mentality with the ability to independently drive cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Ability to think strategically while navigating ambiguity and balancing short-term execution with long-term priorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor complex financial concepts to different audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders through thoughtful analysis, sound judgment, and clear recommendations.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands in a high-growth environment.
  • Practical problem-solving approach, including comfort deciding when to go deep versus use reasonable assumptions and back-of-the-envelope analysis.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems with incomplete or evolving data.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and interest in building scalable processes.
  • Interest in and passion for the environment, sustainability, and the Blueland mission.
