Description

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Blue Water Thinking and VHA stakeholders on contract communications and performance.
  • Manage a complex, multi-project program involving budgets, deliverables, and project lifecycles.
  • Plan, initiate, execute, monitor, and close programs aligned with VA mission and strategic goals.
  • Coordinate subject matter expert support and ensure timely milestones and contractual deliverables.
  • Oversee risk management, resource allocation, and quality assurance across project components.
  • Facilitate collaboration among technical teams, SMEs, and VA leadership.
  • Track performance metrics and provide status updates, reports, and briefings to VHA leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with federal healthcare regulations and contract requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of program or project management experience in a large corporation or government agency.
  • Active PMP certification or equivalent.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-project programs with significant budgets and stakeholder engagement.
  • Knowledge of program lifecycle management, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, including senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, or equivalent project management tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Experience supporting federal healthcare programs, particularly Department of Veterans Affairs initiatives, preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship and able to obtain and maintain a federal public trust clearance.
