Description

  • Develop customer, business, and market insights through field research, feedback, usage data, and quantitative analysis.
  • Identify customer needs, adoption barriers, and friction points to shape product concepts and direction.
  • Lead rapid customer-facing experiments to validate early product concepts.
  • Translate customer evidence, system performance, and business needs into roadmap priorities.
  • Define product requirements for operational design domains, data collection, safeguarding, navigation, machine controls, and precision technology.
  • Set system performance criteria that align autonomous product behavior with customer expectations.
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver hardware, embedded and digital software, computer vision/ML, and mobile solutions to production.
  • Monitor usage, mission quality, customer confidence, and satisfaction to improve product adoption and impact.
  • Make trade-off decisions and take ownership of actions needed to ensure product success.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience in a technology company.
  • Technical competency in robotics, AI, and machine learning systems.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience using data-driven analysis to make product decisions.
  • Ability to solve ambiguous, unstructured problems collaboratively.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical product information clearly and creatively.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and modern product management methodologies.
  • Experience or knowledge in autonomy or robotics (preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial experience taking a product from market entry to scale, and an MBA or MSE (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $142,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills.
