Description

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing using Playwright.
  • Convert repeatable manual test cases into automated tests to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Execute automated and manual test suites, review results, and identify failures and defects.
  • Monitor automated test runs and document failures or inconsistencies in Qase.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps.
  • Support regression and release testing throughout the migration and rebuild project.
  • Perform API and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support CI pipeline execution of automated tests and contribute improvement ideas.
  • Document test cases, test procedures, and known issues in Qase.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing, with at least 2 years in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, or comparable tools such as Selenium or Cypress.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language; JavaScript is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with C#, DHTMLX, and/or Vue.js to understand the applications under test.
  • Experience with Qase or similar test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.
  • Experience working with Jira for defect tracking and GitHub for version control and pipeline integration.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA principles, and SDLC.
  • Ability to create thorough test cases and identify edge cases and risk areas.
  • Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; proactivity and clear communication are critical.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
  • Must be based in a LATAM country.
