Description

  • Execute assigned data conversions independently using templates while maintaining quality and accurate timelines.
  • Adapt conversion processes to handle edge cases, document mapping issues, and preserve data quality.
  • Identify and resolve routine issues proactively, escalating blockers with context when needed.
  • Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to resolve complex conversion cases.
  • Maintain consistent use of SOPs, best practices, and conversion standards to protect system integrity.
  • Communicate risks, progress, and technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Own assigned projects end to end, organize work, and manage deliverables with minimal oversight.
  • Support teammates through peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and informal mentorship.
  • Suggest small process improvements to increase efficiency, throughput, and workflow.
  • Promote a culture of trust, adaptability, and constructive problem-solving within the department.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related work experience in data conversion or ETL engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in C# for scripting and automating conversions.
  • Extensive experience with Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Strong communication skills for working with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
  • Problem-solving ability and comfort working under moderate ambiguity.
  • Experience with Go (GoLang) and Python.
  • SQL, MySQL, or similar query language experience.
  • Willingness to explore, learn, and responsibly integrate AI tools into daily work to improve efficiency.
