Description

  • Build partnerships and lasting relationships with existing customers to retain and grow Square's presence in large organizations.
  • Own a managed book of business, including business prioritization, financial contract structuring, legal negotiations, technology strategy, and ongoing account management.
  • Identify customer challenges and growth opportunities and use Square's platform to drive upsell and cross-sell expansion.
  • Partner with sales colleagues to establish and grow newly onboarded, high-value customers.
  • Act as the voice of the seller by analyzing product performance and sharing feedback to inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Work with C-level executives and technical leaders to support Square's ecosystem in complex, global organizations.
  • Collaborate internally with product, engineering, finance, implementation, marketing, legal, and sales teams to support customer growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, business development, consulting, partnerships, sales, or sales engineering focused on technical products.
  • Experience achieving revenue metrics and sales goals.
  • Experience collaborating internally on complex deals or partnerships.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements and building business cases for feature development with product teams.
  • Formal sales methodology training.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market efforts for new products.
  • Experience presenting to senior decision makers, including C-level executives, IT, finance, and operations leaders.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple company partners on behalf of customers.
