Description

  • Handle employee relations cases involving grievances, misconduct, and workplace disputes by gathering information, meeting with employees and managers, and documenting findings.
  • Prepare investigation reports and complete case documentation for each employee relations case.
  • Manage contested exits and high-risk cases while maintaining a complete and accurate documentation trail.
  • Follow up on labor complaints filed with MOHRE, KSA labor offices, and the Jordanian Ministry of Labor, and coordinate responses with legal counsel.
  • Provide guidance on labor law requirements in the UAE, KSA, and Jordan, including contracts, probation, notice periods, working hours, leave entitlements, and termination grounds.
  • Monitor changes in labor legislation and regulations and recommend required actions.
  • Review employment contracts and HR policies for compliance across the three countries and flag potential risks.
  • Prepare and maintain country-specific compliance reference guides covering probation rules, notice periods, EOS formulas, and leave entitlements.
  • Prepare EOS and gratuity calculations for terminations, layoffs, and disputed cases in line with local labor laws.
  • Review EOS calculations for accuracy before submission to payroll.
  • Maintain updated EOS calculation templates by country and audit past settlements when required.
  • Prepare labor authority correspondence, filings, and notifications related to disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Support government inspections and official requests with the required documentation.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of HR experience focused on employee relations and labor law compliance in the GCC.
  • Experience in the UAE and/or KSA is essential; experience in Jordan is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience calculating EOS/gratuity under UAE, KSA, and Jordan labor laws.
  • Experience handling labor complaints and disciplinary cases.
  • HR certification such as SHRM, CIPD, or SPHRi is a plus.
