Description

  • Work with the Project Art Director and team leads to execute the visual direction of the game.
  • Create high-quality hard-surface environment assets, including props and set pieces.
  • Produce clean, efficient models and materials for real-time gameplay use.
  • Iterate on concepts, prototypes, and final assets with design, animation, and tech art teams.
  • Deliver polished, production-ready assets that meet the project’s quality bar.
  • Translate artistic direction into cohesive, final in-game environment content.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality 3D environment art assets for games.
  • Strong understanding of modeling, UVs, baking, and PBR texturing workflows.
  • Experience creating modular environment art within a game engine.
  • Proficiency with Substance Painter and/or Substance Designer.
  • Experience collaborating with Art Directors and cross-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work in Canada and reside within Canada.
  • Experience with natural forms, organics, and foliage sculpting is a plus.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine PCG system is a plus.
  • Passion for science fiction and action games is a plus.

Benefits
