Description

  • Manage competing proposal, white paper, RFI, ROM, and other BD operations deliverables.
  • Lead proposal execution from pre-RFP planning through submission and closeout.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions on schedule.
  • Manage proposal kickoffs, collaboration, color reviews, and executive reviews.
  • Improve proposal processes, tools, templates, and best practices.
  • Mentor proposal contributors and foster collaborative teams.
  • Develop briefings and presentations for customer engagements.
  • Support customer meetings, demonstrations, and go-to-market events.
  • Provide additional support to BD Operations and GTM leadership as needed.

Requirements

  • 2–4+ years of U.S. federal or international government proposal development or BD operations experience.
  • Alternatively, 3+ years of experience working with U.S. federal or international government requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with proposal methodologies such as Shipley, compliance matrices, and project management processes.
  • Professional leadership experience and strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical ideas.
  • Ability to collaborate flexibly with stakeholders at all organizational levels in a startup environment.
  • Experience managing Foreign Military Sale and Direct Commercial Sale proposals preferred.
  • Technical background in unmanned systems or autonomy software preferred.
  • Knowledge of military operations, Asia/Middle East defense acquisition, and international aerospace and defense markets preferred.
  • Active U.S. security clearance preferred.
