Description

  • Lead the annual review and design of sales incentive compensation plans aligned with corporate strategy, sales goals, market data, and best practices.
  • Model, analyze, and forecast the financial impact of compensation plan changes and present recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, HR, and Legal to ensure plan feasibility, compliance, and effective rollout.
  • Oversee end-to-end sales compensation administration, including territory and quota management, data integrity, calculations, and conflict resolution.
  • Manage and optimize the compensation process to ensure accurate and efficient commission calculations.
  • Evaluate, implement, and improve a scalable sales compensation system.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures for sales compensation plans and processes.
  • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards on plan performance, sales effectiveness, and cost of sales.
  • Conduct quarterly and annual audits of compensation data and calculations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for sales compensation and deliver training to sales and management teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Compensation, Finance, or Sales Operations.
  • 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and administering complex sales commission plans for a large sales organization.
  • Significant experience in the high-tech industry.
  • Proven expertise with sales performance management (SPM) software such as Xactly or CallidusCloud.
  • MBA or Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred.
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense or the high-tech industry preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in data modeling and analysis using Excel, SQL, or BI platforms preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive cross-functional initiatives preferred.

Benefits

  • $135,000 to $205,000 annual salary range.
  • Bonus eligibility for full-time regular employees.
