Description

  • Translate business and technical requirements into concrete performance test plans.
  • Design and implement architecture-level and code-level optimizations to improve throughput and stability.
  • Work with DevOps to maintain production-level high availability across distributed systems.
  • Build and execute performance testing strategies for load, stress, scalability, and reliability scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot real-time performance issues, identify root causes, and deliver end-to-end fixes.
  • Develop internal tools for automated performance monitoring, testing, and issue analysis.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to identify performance bottlenecks at the system, service, and code levels and propose actionable solutions.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting microservice performance issues.
  • Deep expertise in Java performance tuning, profiling, and JVM-level optimization; Java is required.
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with performance analysis for middleware such as Kafka, Redis, and RabbitMQ.
  • Practical experience setting up performance test environments.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid Linux skills, including command-line use and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience using performance engineering tools such as K6 or JMeter.
  • Rust experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or AliCloud is a plus.
  • Experience setting up monitoring and observability stacks such as Prometheus and Grafana is a plus.
  • Prior experience conducting performance tests in production environments is a plus.
  • Experience triaging and resolving production performance incidents is a plus.
  • Linux kernel or OS-level performance analysis skills are a plus.
  • Experience working within distributed, remote teams is a plus.
  • Ability to leverage APM tools effectively for performance troubleshooting is a plus.
