Description

  • Define and execute Indonesia’s cybersecurity and operational resilience strategy in alignment with local regulations and Binance’s global objectives.
  • Advise executive leadership and the board on information security risks and regulatory obligations in Indonesia.
  • Represent Binance in engagements with Indonesian regulators, including OJK, Bappebti, Bank Indonesia, and Kominfo.
  • Lead the design and implementation of security frameworks, controls, policies, procedures, and documentation for Indonesian compliance.
  • Ensure timely regulatory reporting, breach notifications, and responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Oversee risk assessments, security architecture reviews, and cyber risk reporting at the regional level.
  • Implement and maintain incident detection and response capabilities, and coordinate major cyber incident response for Indonesian operations.
  • Establish and lead the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) for Indonesia.
  • Manage third-party and supply chain security risk, including vendor due diligence, contracts, exit strategies, and cloud concentration risk.
  • Lead security operations, including vulnerability management, monitoring, threat intelligence, and penetration testing.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with current Jakarta-based location or willingness to relocate.
  • At least 6 years of experience in finance or a related sector, focused on security and technology compliance in a global firm.
  • A combination of senior management experience and deep cybersecurity experience is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial and data protection regulations, including OJK, Bappebti, PDP Law, and Kominfo PSE requirements.
  • Experience engaging directly with regulatory bodies such as OJK, Bappebti, Bank Indonesia, or Kominfo, including implementing their recommendations.
  • Experience managing ICT risk, cyber incidents, third-party vendors, and penetration testing in line with regulatory standards.
  • Experience leading cross-functional cybersecurity teams across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Experience with international data privacy and information security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/27701, CIS, and PCI-DSS.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CIPP, CIPM, FIM, ISO 27701, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or credentials from ISC2, ISACA, GIAC, or CREST are a plus.
